Tim Duffy – Producer

After graduation from Curtin University Film School in Australia Tim enjoyed a seven year international career as a cinematographer and lighting technician on TV commercials, music videos, television series and feature films.

Tim then got his break as a producer and director on innovative extreme sports television shows such as The World Heli Challenge (Seven Network, ESPN 2) and the action sports feature Deep South (Fox Sports).

In the mid nineties Tim was often asked to apply his experience in extreme sports to cutting edge television commercials and VFX shoots. So, in 1999 he jointly founded the Australian production company, Sauce Films. Tim served as Company Director and Senior Producer, achieving many international awards.

Since 2003 Tim has been based in New York and Los Angeles and has worked as a producer, writer and director on commercial and feature projects with clients such as Vogue Magazine and Universal Def Jam Records.

He recently co-produced the US feature documentary Let’s Talk About Sex which will be released in late 2010. Tim's next feature film Drift is based on an original story he co-wrote and will take him back to his native Australia, working with World Wide Mind's Ben Nott and Myles Pollard and Hollywood talent Sam Worthington and Morgan O'Neill.

Tim’s personal cause is marine conservation. He co-created and produced the Australian TV series Creature Keepers (pilot for ABC TV) as well as a government sponsored Eco Web series titled Surfer’s Impact.


Ben Nott – Writer / Director

Australian Born / U.S. based, Ben Nott began his career in writing and directing for TV and cinema in advertising at the age of 16. His undying passion for film was fueled by studying at Australian Film Television and Radio School. His work has won over sixty major awards at all the main international festivals, including the top prize at Cannes International Festival - The Grand Prix and recently won a very rarely awarded Gold at the English D&AD Awards. Ben has written over 100 commercials internationally, four screenplays, with three optioned in Hollywood. He has directed over fifty commercials, ten music videos, several short films and two documentaries.

Ben and his partners own and operate world wide mind and agile production company shooting in Sydney and Los Angeles. His clients include Paramount Pictures, Miramax, Disney, Fox TV, MTV, Fuel TV, Channel 4 United Kingdom, MJZ Films, Anonymous Content Films, ABC TV USA, TNT Drama Channel.

Ben's films have been selected and screened at the Sundance Film Festival, Breaking Walls Awards - Berlin, Tropfest - Sydney and Tribecca Film Festival - New York, to name a few. Ben is a life long core surfer who has lived in LA for the last 10 years while Writing and Directing internationally.


Myles Pollard - Producer / Actor

Since graduating from the acting course at NIDA in 1998 Myles has appeared in many Australian television series including Water Rats, Home and Away, All Saints, Wildside, Double Trouble, Packed to the Rafters, Underbelly 2, East West 101 and Rescue Special Ops.

It was playing one of the original characters (Nick Ryan) in the internationally acclaimed television series McLeod's Daughters that secured him a place in the hearts and minds of millions of people worldwide.

Myles has also worked as an actor with respected professional theatre companies such as Bell Shakespeare, Ensemble and Black Swan. He recently appeared alongside Hugh Jackman in the box office hit Wolverine and also had a lead role in the award winning short film Four, made by rising director Erin White.

He has composed musical scores for short films and written many songs (one for an episode of McLeod's Daughters) and continues to write screenplays. Myles has produced two short films for TropFest over the years and also a short film that was aired on SBS channel. Myles' passion is to create films that entertain and inspire people the world over.
